Julep 'Kate' Nail Polish Swatches/Pictures Plus A Halloween Glitter Manicure

I've been on a quest to find pictures of "real life" Julep Nail Polishes...some are easy to find online and others not so much.  Here is another one I ordered simply because I couldn't find a picture of it 'on' someone.  Julep calls 'Kate' a pearly white, but on the website it's hard to see what it exactly looks like.  In real life, it is a soft, opaque white that is creamy and shimmery at the same time.  I was so afraid this would be an ultra "frosty" type of polish but it is not.  This was only 2 layers and there was no streaking!

In this picture, you can see the creamy side to this polish:
Here is Kate showing off her pearly side:

I then decided to do a Halloween glitter combo using Wet N Wild's 'Tangled In My Web' black glitter plus the orange pumpkin glitter I picked up at Rite Aid recently:

I love "Kate"!  Another neutral that is still fun and a little bit different...I can't get enough of them!

  1. I love the finish on Kate. It does manage to look pearly and not frosty at all. And of course I love the glitter layering. Which reminds me, I was wearing glitter earlier and was too lazy to use remover so I peeled it off. Oops!

  2. Gorgeous!!! I love Kate! I have been on the search for a great white! I love the glitters too!!

  3. This is like a mini Halloween party on your nails, lol! You're so right that it's actually a wearable white...probably due to the fine shimmer and it's pearly nature. So pretty!!

  4. All That Is Gorgeous...thanks! I am really glad that I tried this one. Kate is a keeper!

Eugenia, that is a great way to describe this look! ;)

  5. These swatches make me very excited for Kate!! I wanted IT Girl this month for Daphne, and was super iffy about Kate but it looks gorgeous! :)

  6. I just got this in my Julep July box and LOVE it!
