Cosmetic Arts Nail Polish "Power Play" Pictures/Swatches/Review

Here is a brand of polish that is new to me: Cosmetic Arts.  They are made by the same company that manufactures Color Club Nail Polish.  I honestly only chose this color because it was sitting in a bin, all by itself, on sale.  I usually don't gravitate towards these types of shades, however I was more than pleasantly surprised by it.  First off, I love the bottle shape.  Secondly, I fell in love the brush in one fell stroke- it is the type of brush that has that bouncy "give" that allows you complete control of your polish.  Thirdly, the formula on this one was splendid.  It is a sort of neon-jelly color, so it dried fast (but not too fast) and spread out smoooooothly.

As per usual with neons, this color was hard to photograph.  In "real life"  this is about 2 levels brighter than it appears in pictures.  Also, you can see in the pics than my nail line is still visible....also not the case to the naked eye.  This dried to semi-matte finish...these photos are shown without topcoat:

Not being one to leave 'well enough' alone, I added one layer of Creative Nail Design's "Teal Sparkle" Effect to this.  Again, in real life, the teal in this sparkle in much more apparent:
If you click on the picture below, you can get a better idea of the teal-y-ness:

Till next time!
