Favorite Polish Memories from 2011!

I decided to take a quick walk down memory lane with a list of some of my favorite polishes from this year.  You will notice that my 2011 list is full of tons of crisp teals and turquoises, along with plenty of fresh looking nudes- I can't get enough of these!

Here they are, in no particular order:

OPI I Eat Mainely Lobster- I love this fall coral...it was one of my favorite 'bright' colors this year:

Julep Stella- Mustard yellow for your nails?  Hellz yeah:

CND 24K Sparkle (shown over CND Midnight Sapphire)- a simply spectacular flaky gold glitter:

Julep Olivia- delicious dark chocolate creme:

Maybelline Cool Couture- Maybe I should be paying more attention to Maybelline?  'Cuz the teal shimmer in this is sick (that's 'sick' in a good way :D )

Essence Color & Go Can't Cheat On Me- A silver, holographic polish for a buck?  YES please:

Cult Nails Awakening- Darkened teal with a jelly/creme finish...yum!

Cult Nails In A Trance- smoky olive green w/ gold shimmer:

Julep Kate- Pearly white (with zero streaks!):

OPI Rainbow Collection- The perfect confetti glitter bomb:

Essie School Of Hard Rocks- I would say this is probably my #1 fav polish this year...I love it that much!

Essie Trophy Wife- A shimmery, hot turquoise:

Finger Paints Winter Sky- Yes, another turquoise-but-c'mon...they are so beautiful!

Color Club New Bohemian- a soft version of my favorite hue:

Julep Penelope- Perfect baby pink:

Essie Dive Bar- blackened blue-y, teal perfection:

So, there you have it.  I definitely went off the deep end with the teals this year.  I wonder what 2012 will bring into my polish collection?  Will I remain true to the turquoise?  Or find a new love?  What was YOUR favorite color for 2011??
2011 definitely was all over the place for me, but I learned a lot about myself and I cannot wait to find out what 2012 has in store for all of us!

<3 Have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! <3

  1. My favorites out of these were Trophy Wife, Olivia, and Kate! My personal favorite nail polish was Julep's Malin! It is a gorgeous, all-around color that I couldn't take my eyes off! It was the perfect balance of subtlety and chic(ness?)! Please post more often; I miss your blog! Happy New Year! :D

  2. iLadybird- I loved Malin too! I totally should've included her :D We are moving into our new house on Tuesday, so I will be able to get back into blogging! Its been challenging doing it from the hotel ;) Happy New Year to you too!!

  3. Hi hon! Excuse us as we wipe the drool from our chin. ;) All gorgeous polishes!! We're considering ordering some polishes from Julep...do you love yours??

    Happy 2012!!

  4. Cool Couture almost made it on my list, I was "this" close - lol! Great selections - I also ♥ Julep Penelope which is my screen-name. Nice!

  5. Happy, happy New Year, Maribeth my friend...and to your wonderful family as well! I love your choices, and as always, love how you make simply everything look so fab! My faves? How long do you have for me to start listing them? Lol!!

  6. Happy New Year to you, too! :)

All of those were awesome picks. I especially loved the way Julep Penelope looked on you. That's a shade that I can't pull off, but on you, wow, it looks like it's not even nail polish because it's so perfect!

Julep Kate also stood out to me even though those kind of colours usually don't get my attention. It looks incredible on you, and wow, no streaks? That's amazing!

Thank you for sharing your favourite colours! :) I was drooling the whole time.

  7. I really love the first picture of you with longer nails, is that weird? My eye balls find it aesthetically pleasing.

    Cool Couture ... yum.

Julep Penelope ... so clean and crisp!
