Spoiled "Shuffle The Deck" Nail Polish Layering Pictures

Spoiled is a new brand of polish that is sold at CVS (I believe they are made by Wet N Wild?).  They have some really cute glitters, and I picked up "Shuffle The Deck" which is a a clear base with black, silver, and red glitter. I decided to do some layering:

For this manicure, I first did 2 layers of OPI's "French Quarter For Your Thoughts", a gray creme:

Then I used Essence "Can't Cheat On Me", which when worn on it's own is sort of sheer, but layered over 'Quarter', it's awesome! One layer on top here:

Then I did one coat of "Shuffle The Deck".  As usual with this type of glitter, you have to be very aware of how much polish vs. glitter you pick up with the brush and where you are placing it.  Side note; the brushes on these are very wide and flat.  If you have ever used Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polish, it seems similar to those:

You would think with all those layers, this would take forEVER to dry.  One coat of Seche Vite on top and this was dry super quick.  You know, I keep cheating on Seche Vite, trying to find something I like better, but I always end up going back :D  It's pretty great!

What do you think of this combo?

  1. Ooooh...I really like this! Know what it reminds me of? Vegas - the gaming tables to be more precise (not that I've ever been there, lol!) There's something sophisticated, yet so much fun in this combo! Great swatches, my friend!

  2. I personally would have stopped at step 2 but it does look pretty all together!

    1. Deborah, I fell in love after step 2 and almost stopped as well! But, since I started out with the goal of using the glitter (I had never tried it and bought it a month ago!), I went for it :)

  3. I love your nail of the day photos! I cannot take a good nail pic for the life of me! I just bought some fun new polishes myself hehe

  4. It looks great! I love shuffle the deck. I need to use mine soon! Seche Vite is pure awesome. I just love the stuff since I found it =)

  5. Love it! I just bought Shuffle and I'm thinking of layering it over a white frost. I love it over the grey, though.
