Revlon "Golden Charm" and Klean Color "City Never Sleeps" Nail Polish Pictures

Warning: This is a very blingtastic nail post today!  I started out with 2 layers of a Revlon polish named "Golden Charm":

With no flash, you can see her darker side.
City Never Sleeps
I then did 1 layer of "City Never Sleeps" on top:

Color: "Golden Charm" is a great metallic gold that is really easy to apply.  "City Never Sleeps" has a sheer yet darkened base (it looks grayish) with small turquoise glitters plus larger golden and purple hex glitters.  Really unique!

Formula/Application:
"Golden Charm" applied really nicely and dried quickly.  "City Never Sleeps" was also easy to layer with and was not too thick, with an ample amount of glitter in each swipe.

Where To Buy:  I found this Revlon at Ocean State Job Lot (For $1.49!) and I purchased my Klean Color from ebay.

Overall, I like how the metallic base and the glitter together give off a unique texture. It almost looks 3-D in person, but it has dried completely smooth with one coat of Seche Vite.  There is a LOT going on here, but I feel like if I kept everything else simple (outfit, makeup, etc), I wouldn't feel overwhelmed wearing a uber-blingy nail like this!

  1. I like when there's a lot going on on the nails - so I like this. :) I've got City that never sleeps as well - it's a cool glitter.

  2. While I was working on my Chanel Vegas Collection post, I took a break and hopped over here to see what you've been up to and my jaw almost dropped! This golden Revlon, is freakishly close to Chanel's 'Gold Fingers'!! They've done it again, lol!! You'll see what I mean when I post my review. In the meanwhile, you pulled off another killer layering combo, my friend!

    1. I can't wait to see your Chanels! Thanks for the praise...I tend to layer everything since I want to use as many of my "untrieds" as possible, but I am getting to the point where I need to cleanse my nail palette, so to speak, and calm things down for a bit ;)
