Wet N Wild Be Jeweled Collection: "Born Into Privilege" Nail Polish Pictures

Few things excite me more (nail polish-wise) than hunting down limited edition Wet N Wild collections. I had pretty much given up on finding the display for their "Be Jeweled" polishes and then I strolled into Rite Aid to buy gummy worms with the boys today and there they were!  I picked up 2 and was *going* to show you both, however this is what happened to one of them:

Note to Self: Do not ask your 9 year old son to carry the bag with the nail polish in it.
I'm not even sure what the name of this one was...I tried to look at the bottle after it smashed, but the polish wiped the name off!  Boo :/

Here it the one that survived; "Born Into Privilege" is a greenish/gold base glitter with multi-colored larger glitter pieces mixed in. (Side note: word on the street is that these polishes are close to China Glaze's Prismatic Collection!)

I would like to warn you, I went overboard with pictures, and then subsequently could not narrow down which ones to post.  The polish changes in every light, which made it tough.

2 layers shown here:

I thought this would be a bumpy, textured mess even after drying, but with only one layer of Seche Vite on top this is completely smooth and not annoying.

Now I want to try layering this over some dark colors!

  3. Oh.My.God....Maribeth, my heart goes out to you -- and something tells me that your little guys must have felt simply awful to break one of mom's precious bottles; hope you weren't too hard on him! And for the record, this shade does look exceptionally close to China Glaze's 'Ray-diant' from the new Prismatic Glitters collection -- you're right! You'll see, just as soon as I post my swatches (I know, I'm sooooo behind!!)

    1. He felt so bad and it didn't help that I initially waaaay overreacted (more at the panic of what the polish may have dripped on). Poor guy :) I picked up a few more (included the one I broke!)so I can't wait to see your China Glaze pics!

  4. Ugh, I always get really sad when I see broken polish bottles. I've had it happen to me a few times and have shed real life tears (especially when it happened to a Deborah Lippmann!!). The surviving one is pretty though. ^_^

  5. How hilarious is this... The one that broke is called "Speak When Spoken To" and it just so happens to be the one that I chose to buy to swatch/review! Great minds and all ;) So sorry yours broke that definitely sucks buckets!! I am actually posting my review of Speak tomorrow though so you can at least see what it would've looked like-ish if it'd made the full journey home! hugs! xo, E.

  6. The polish also could be Jewels For Your Highness. I managed to snag that one and it looks exactly like the broken one. I got the one you're wearing too! I WANT to wear it, but I got called back for a second interview (!) so I need something a little less... blingy. I'll let you know how the interview goes. :)
