Wet N Wild School Of Pyrotechnics Nail Polish & a White Jelly Sandwich

I had been boo hoo-ing to the world about how I could not find the newest Wet N Wild Limited Edition Fast Dry polishes that recently came out.  They are one of my favorite things to collect, and since we moved to New Jersey I can't seem to find them ANYWHERE!  Then last Friday, I opened my mailbox and discovered a package I was not expecting- the coveted "Stars & Stripes" and "School of Pyrotechnics".  Who was my nail mail fairy? My dear friend Brandi from The Collegiate Nail!  I seriously made a noise that sounded like this when I opened it: "Squeeeeeeeeee!  Eeeeeee!" :D

"School Of Pyrotechnics" has a silly name and an awesome combo of glitters in a clear base.  It's a warmer combo of colors than what you will typically find, and I love it!
Top: School of Pyrotechnics, Stars & Stripes; Middle: What I used for  my sandwich;  Bottom: Close up  of 'Pyrotechnics'

"School Of Pyrotechnics" just begs to be made into a jelly sandwich. (Speaking of which, check out what Brandi did with it + Rescue Beauty Lounge Squarepants!).  I started with 2-ish layers of Julep "Kate". This is a pearly white polish and it makes me happy whenever I wear it!  So bright and creamy looking at the same time.  You need this color!  I got mine as part of the Julep Maven program (you can use my referral link here to sign up and get your first box for 1 penny using "COLORS4ONE" at the checkout!)

I added one layer of "School Of Pyrotechnics" on top:

Gold, green, red, purple, and blue hexes!

Then I took Essie "Allure" (sheer white) and did one layer on  top of everything:

I LOVE this combination.  It reminds me of these nougat candies I used get from the bulk bins at the grocery store when I was little:

Now the fun part- I'm already plotting on how to repay the favor to Brandi ;-) Wah-ha-ha-ha-ha! (Ya that's my lame evil laugh).

What do you think of "School Of Pyrotechnics"?  Have you found these WnW's near you?  Have you ever eaten these obscure nougat jelly candies?

  1. Yes! This is gorgeous! I gotta try this combo asap. And PUHH LEASE there is NO NEED to repay this nail fairy. I'm pretty sure I got those two on sale buy one get one half off, and they're only 1.99 anyway. So glad I could help a sista out :)

  3. I love this combination it's so cute! I think it would look even cuter with a pastel/neon glitter, more like sprinkles on a cupcake. Also, Julep is sending this absolutely amazinggg glitter in your next maven box entitled America the Beautiful. It seriously is like nothing I've ever seen before! Also, Julep is being featured on QVC tomorrow at 9pm eastern time (we live in the same state haha) for the first time. Here's the link to the pictures of the glitters for the U.S. and Canada! They are on Julep;s official Facebook page. PLEASE do swatches of this glitter I'm so excited haha: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151209890395884&set=a.91704360883.105302.49239265883&type=1&theater
