Favorite Polish Memories from 2012!

Before looking ahead into 2013, I wanted to take a stroll through 2012 and remember some of my favorite polishes from the past year!

Here they are, in no particular order:

Zoya Wednesday. Turquoise creme perfection:

Zoya Zuza- rich, saturated teal shimmer:

Zoya Kennedy- quite possibly my favorite nude of the year!

OPI Into The Night- deep blue shimmer:

Cult Nails Scandalous- creamsicle orange jelly:

Julep Robin- super bright teal creme:

China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard- From the summer neons collection. Perfect shimmery neon green:

China Glaze Splish Splash-also from Summer Neons collection. Bright shimmery neon blue:

China Glaze Pink Plumeria from the- you guessed it- Summer Neons collection:

China Glaze Hang Ten Toes (last one from the Summer Neons collection, I swear! ) This whole set was fantastic!

China Glaze Elephant Walk- dusty blue-grey shimmer:

China Glaze I'm Not Lion- champagne glitter with holographic bits:

Nails Inc Sweets Way- creamy confetti glitter!

F4 Summer Melon (shown on top of Julep Courteney). A unique glitter mix of green, pink and black:

F4 Smores (shown on top of Essie Like To Be Bad) Dark brown, light brown, and white glitter mix:

China Glaze Man Hunt. This polish made me believe I could actually wear blue on my nails. Stellar jelly-creme formula too:

Shimmer Polish Airriann- a unique glitter polish that reminded me of candy. Of course I had to include this one on my list! (Shown over Julep Olivia)

OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest. This was my favorite vampy color of the year for sure!
-

Urban Outfitters Sea Dust - a near perfect imitation of Deborah Lippmann's Mermaid's Dream:

Zoya Katherine- deep wine jelly <3

Sephora by OPI It's Real 18K Gold Topcoat. Pure, gold speckled luxury:

Sation Money Badger. I fell hard for this brand this year and Money Badger started it!

Butter London Two Fingered Salute- creamy green base with copper flecks. So unique and fun:
Misa Bourbon On The Rocks. Such a delicious color!

Lastly we have China Glaze Rougish Red from the Halloween collection. This was such a surprise hit for me and if I had to only choose one polish from the year, this may be it. The perfect orangey-red borderline neon creme. I loved this so much!

I think the most surprising thing about my favorites this year is that there is only one nude polish on the list!  I'm definitely expanding my horizons and becoming more open to color!  What was your top polish for the year?

  5. These are all such amazing choices! I really, really love Zoya Zuza - I almost got it yesterday in a swap, but it was a mistake on the girls list - I was so sad!

  7. Love all your selections, Maribeth! I so wish I could do a post like this, but there's just so much to choose from in my stash, and I feel bad singling some shades over the rest...lol! Seriously though, you've given me food for thought and I guess I could narrow it down to at least 1 for every month, right?! Can't wait to see what your 2013 faves will be!
