China Glaze Avant Garden Collection & Nail Art! (Pictures, Swatches, Review)

Hello there!  Today I have my picks from China Glaze's new Avant Garden collection to share with you!  Comprised of pretty, Springy, flowery colors, I had a difficult time narrowing down which ones I wanted.  Here's what I ended up with:

First, there's Dandy Lyin' Around, a crisp, shimmery white. This was a bit on the sheer side, and streak-prone, so I ended up doing 4 layers of polish here. The brush on this one was also having a bad hair day, with bristles standing up every which way, so that also made application challenging. You know what, though? I still really love this color:

Next is Passion For Petals, a medium, rosy carnation pink creme. Super gorgeous, this is the type of polish that makes your nails look sleek and sophisticated. Superb formula on this one- only 2 layers of polish necessary for complete coverage and a shiny finish:

Then we have the one I wanted the most- Keep Calm, Paint On. This seafoam, minty green with shimmer is a BEAUTY! If I had not seen this on other blogs, I may have passed thinking, "I don't need another color like that". I'm glad I read about it first, because that shimmer makes this spectacular! 2 layers:

Then I did some messy, haphazard (just the way I like 'em!) flowers in black & white on top using a small nail art brush:

Did you pick any of these colors up?  Which ones are your favorites? Don't forget, Sally Beauty Supply is having a sale on all polish this month- buy 2 get 1 free!
